My bandmates and I are trying to figure out the best order of songs for the launch party. I don't want to give too much away, but I suppose I can list the bands we'll be covering.... get ready to have your mind blown by the schizophrenia!
AC/DC
Prince
The Beatles
Bow Wow Wow
The Cure
The Velvet Underground
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
My question to you good people: What band would you start with? Close with? Add? Leave out?
I have been fighting for Led Zeppelin... we'll see how that goes.
Thoughts are welcome and encouraged.
PS: We also have an original! It's called (shocker) "YA Song." Libba wrote the words; we all wrote the music. I'll say nothing more about it except that it features a bizarrely inappropriate psychedelic guitar solo in an otherwise pleasant up-tempo pop format.
PPS: Yes, I'll be busting out the violin bow again.

I think this is a great list! I'd start out slightly mellow with Velvet Underground, Beatles, etc. and build up to ACDC, the cure. And I love Hedwig!
