firstly, thanks Jencarlos for inviting me! wow. and hi everyone!
that's interesting about shadow people, I've read up on it and it cannnot be explained.
Coincidentally, I happened to be discussing 'shadow people' online with someone last week! i was alone in my house, it was daytime--dogs were in the same room with me, huz wasn't home. and the living room door (i work in the kitchen) blew open. now it wasn't windy and that never happened before! very weird, it also happened later that night when my husband was home!
there is another experience: i was living in a small village (in England) some years ago, home was a house built in 1800 or so, well it was rural you see there wasn't another house close by. i was reading very late when I heard a child laughing. now it wasn't from outside (because i checked) it was coming from the attic! but it sounded muffled. checked that and nothing. i didn't ever hear it again, but i sure as heck know what i heard. i was awake, alert and I heard it!
btw it didn't creep me out because the child sounded happy!

My paranormal visitor, happened some years ago, when I was around 14 or 15. I still haven't ever been able to fully explain ti to anyone because it's fairly awkward and embarrassing, so I thought I would share here at THE DEN OF SHADOWS. I have never had any real ghostly or spiritual experiences before this that I can remember so this was extremely scarly for me.
I was asleep in my bed one night; the time would have probably been around 3-4 am. I remember waking up to someone standing in my room; it was dark so I could only see a silhouette. I remember I was lying on my side and I could see this person out of the corner of my eye. I pretended I was asleep and thinking it was someone in my family.
The next thing I know this person is standing right at the level of my head, next to my bed.
I closed my eyes thinking that they would leave, and fell back asleep.
I woke up the next morning still thinking it was someone in my family, but when I mentioned it they all looked at me like I was crazy.
I've researched since and found out about shadow men, which seemed to be the only spirit/entity that seemed to fit my description. I haven't seen this thing since, but I have always been curious as to what it wanted and why it visited me in the way it did.
I anyone of you heard of this happening, let me know.
