Help us pick the New Weight of Bones Cover!!

Hey guys,

Since so many people loved giving input on the Water Wars cover (who knew you were all so opinionated!) I decided we might do this more regularly!

I wanted to ask you to once again put on your thinking caps to help us decide on the cover for another YA novel coming out in April 2011.

The protagonist is brainy Tess Smith, the younger sibling of her beautiful, popular, volleyball-scholarship-bound sister Kristina. When Kristina is diagnosed with bone cancer, it drastically changes both sisters' lives. This is a YA literary novel (in the vein of Jodi Picoult or Sarah Dessen). If you have friends that read widely in the genre, we'd love to hear from them as well! Here's a shortened link you can use (http://bit.ly/9LwvuY) to post on twitter or facebook.

I'll pick three random winners from the comments to recieve a copy of any book on our Fire list (you can totally pick The Weight of Bones, but we won't have advanced copies for another 2-3 months)!

Again, I'd like to invite people to write fan fiction inspired by the covers on the writers forum (500 word minimum). The two stories with the most comments will also get free copies of a book of their choice. Please use "Weight of Bones" somewhere in the title of your story so I can be sure and see it!

Thanks for all your help and feedback!

Cover # 3
I Just Love The Choppy Pieces Effect...
#1!
Cover #1
#3 is my favorite. I like the colors and the text.
I like cover 1. It just seems like a life changing image.
Definitely cover #3. The elements on it make me curious, and the warm colors really draw my eyes more than the other ones.
Cover #3 is the best. If I was in book store, I would be a lot more likely to pick it up and buy it
Love cover #2. The symbolism speaks to the reader. It is simple but would make me curious to read the synopsis.
Oh my gosh, #3.
So completely and totally #3.
I have to say the first cover ,in my opinion, is the best cover based on what I have read on what the book is going to be about. And It's hauntingly beautiful! I can't wait to read this book! I love Sarah Dessen and Jodi Picoult and I am sure i will love this book as well.
